I know, I know, I'm an Orlando girl so of course, I was going to like anything Disney. But the cruise surpassed any of my expectations. Kahn and I say it was one of our best family vacations yet...and if you know me, we've been on a lot of vacations!
Kahn loved the kids club. Olivia loved the princesses. Madeline loved the buffets.
Kahn loved the pirate party. Olivia loved the splash pad. Madeline loved the buffets.
Kahn loved the slides. Olivia loved the movie theater. And yes, Madeline loved the buffets.
And I just loved watching the wonder and amazement on their faces.
From the sail away party to meeting the princesses to the pirate party and kids club, it was great. Speaking of kids club, that might be one of the most genius things ever. My kids literally begged and cried to go to kid's club. There were activities in there all day long for them and they LOVED it! And our kids in kids club meant alone time for mom and dad. Score! Disney actually has a pretty nice adults-only area on the ship so we totally took advantage. Disney also allows you to take your own alcohol on the ship...as much as you can fit in your carry-on. Let's just say, we had more carry-ons than normal on this particular trip!
Honestly, the only drawback of the whole trip was that it was too short!
Everything about the trip was fabulous! So much so that we already re-booked for next year. We'll be sailing August 31st out of Port Canaveral if anyone is interested.
I have a feeling we'll be doing Disney cruises for many years to come. You just can't beat it! Disney just does it right. It truly is magical.
